The testimony by Supreme Court nominee Brett Kavanaugh, several queries stay unanswered. One such question is why did Kavanaugh repeatedly deny getting blackout drunk, when people who partied with him appear to refute those claims.
Last night, yet one more schoolfellow of Kavanaugh from Yale University, Lynne Brookes, came forward and called into CNN’s Cuomo prime time to accuse the judge of ‘blatant lying.’ Brooke’s, who was the friend of one of Kavanaugh’s accusers, Debbie Ramirez, told Cuomo within the past that she didn’t wish to get involved, but once watching Brett Kavanaugh’s testimony yesterday, she said that she might no longer keep quiet.
Lynne Brookes told Cuomo that “a number” of her Yale classmates, beside herself, were “extremely disappointed in Brett Kavanaugh’s characterization of himself and the means that he evaded his excessive drinking queries,” before telling her story, live on the air.
“There is no doubt in my mind that while at Yale he was a giant partier, usually drank to excess, she explained. And there had to be a number of nights where he doesn’t bear in mind. In fact, i used to be witness to the night that he got tapped into that fraternity, and he was stumbling drunk in a ridiculous costume saying very dumb things. and that i can almost guarantee that there’s no means that he remembers that night.
Lynne Brookes said that during his testimony before the Senate Judiciary Committee, her and multiple classmates from Yale were emailing and texting their outrage to every other as Kavanaugh told lie once lie to the american folks.
Now it’s up to Republicans on the committee to decide if they need to motivate a committee vote this morning, postpone a vote, or pull the nomination altogether.
