The White House counselor Kellyanne Conway same on Sunday she was a victim of sexual abuse. Kavanaugh accuser Julie Swetnick to be excluded from Federal Bureau of Investigation investigation
The President Donald Trump aide appeared on CNN’s State of the Union to debate allegations against supreme court nominee Brett Kavanaugh. 3 women have suspect the federal circuit judge of sexual misconduct. A politically contentious Federal Bureau of Investigation investigation will come about this week.
I feel very sympathetic,” Conway said, “frankly, for victims of sexual abuse and molestation and rape.
I’m a victim of sexual abuse, she said. I don’t expect judge Brett Kavanaugh or Jake Tapper or Jeff Flake or anybody to be held accountable for that. you have to be answerable for your own conduct.
Kellyanne Conway appeared to be saying attackers had to be held responsible, not all men. On CNN and elsewhere on Sunday morning, she defended Dr Christine Blasey Ford, whose Senate testimony regarding Brett Kavanaugh held the nation’s attention on Th. Ford may are abused by somebody else, Conway said.
He went on to push her regarding President Donald Trump, who has been suspect of sexual misconduct by over a dozen ladies and who has said that what he claims are false allegations against him have formed his view on the difficulty. Shouldn’t Ford and other ladies be heard?
They should all be heard, and that they should all be detected in courts of law and depositions, they must be heard in proceedings, Conway said.
Conway was discussing the confrontation with Jeff Flake: “I am a victim of sexual assault. I don’t expect Judge Kavanaugh or Jake Tapper or Jeff Flake or anybody to be held responsible for that.” (She goes on to say it should be the perpetrators that should be held responsible.) https://t.co/OeY0dmL8Bg

Those who can prosecute, those that have civil and or criminal causes of action should pursue that. however we do treat people that are either the victims or perpetrators on this based on their politics and their gender. that’s a large mistake.
She went on to speak concerning how she talks to her son about the Kavanaugh allegations and expressed concern, as several Republicans have, that “any man” may face such claims. “It can be any man in any position currently,” she said.
Kellyanne Conway, 51, has been a compelling figure to observe as Kavanaugh’s nomination method has stalled because of the allegations against him. Kellyanne Conway told Fox News earlier this month that Ford should not be abused and should and will|and may} not be ignored” and said the Senate should hear her in sworn testimony and judge Brett Kavanaugh.
Days later, she seemed to have shifted, in a decision with White House surrogates reportedly saying the allegations can be a left-wing conspiracy and saying Brett Kavanaugh’s higher than disgraced Hollywood producer Harvey Weinstein. She noted Weinstein on CNN on Sunday in addition.
This is not the primary time Kellyanne Conway has alluded to a #MeToo moment, but it’s the first time she’s plainly declared it was sexual abuse. In Dec 2017, she said at a politician summit that she had been sexually harassed but “nobody cared” thanks to her politics.
If we’re attending to have an honest conversation everybody you can’t decide and select depending on somebody’s politics, she said.
