Republican leaders ar making ready a controversial push to put in Brett Kavanaugh on the Supreme Court once a frenetic night of legal and political maneuvering in Washington that would reverberate for years to come back.
In a major twist to his confirmation adventure story, attorneys for Christine Blasey Ford, who has suspect Kavanaugh of sexually assaulting her after they were teenagers within the 1980s, said their client wasn’t ready to testify during a public hearing offered by Republicans unless the Federal Bureau of Investigation 1st investigates her allegations.
