UFC fighter over bus attack, Conor McGregor sued lawsuit

Conor McGregor is being sued by fellow UFC fighter Michael Chiesa over the Irish star’s role in an attack on a bus in Brooklyn earlier this year, according to reports.

Michael Chiesa – WHO was set to fight Anthony Pettis at UF 223 before McGregor’s meltdown – is suing the previous champion, TMZ reported monday. Chiesa suffered cuts to the body and face once McGregor threw a cart at a bus that was parked at the borough arena.

Chiesa additionally suffered “severe emotional distress, mental trauma and/or bodily hurt,” TMZ reported , citing a cause filed in ny state court. He accuses McGregor of assault, battery and intentional infliction of emotional distress.

Chiesa also accuses the Barclays Center of negligence, claiming they didn’t establish correct security measures to guard him and people involved in the attack, in line with the gossip web site.

McGregor pleaded guilty in June to misdemeanor and needed to perform 5 days of community service to resolve charges stemming from the incident. He was also forced to be evaluated for Associate in Nursing anger management program and was barred from contact with the fighters he scraped in the disturbance.

McGregor wasn’t subject to any travel restrictions, and if he stays out of trouble for a year his record are going to be cleaned.

McGregor is about to come to the octagon in October to face rival undefeated light-weight champion Khabib Nurmagomedov at the T-Mobile Arena in las vegas.
